2008 H3 gremlins, losing all patience ..
Let me start by saying I have checked these forms and took some advice.
While driving my vehicle my door lock's started opening on their own, Then my cruise control shut off. Got the Truck home shut it off Then started it backup, BUT could not get it back into gear as it was saying I was in low one when I was in park. After shutting it off again it reset and I was able to get it into gear took it straight to the GM dealer. They told me my roof dreams had leaked and they fixed that issue then unconnected the electrical connections to check for dampness ,reconnected everything with electrical Grease. Used truck for one day and again doors unlocking by themselves, truck sped up on it's own, speedometer went to zero, pulled over put in park and again would not go into gear, finally after 20 minutes it reset and drove back to dealer, they determined BCM was bad and replaced it, picked it up drove home about 3 miles and of course while pulling Into driveway door locks popped open again... now out 1200 beans and really pissed, what the hell can it be....HELP

You said...."They told me my roof dreams had leaked and they fixed"... what are you talking about?
Do you have a sunroof? Have you ever cleaned out the drains and done the fix mod to the sunroof drains. Has the passenger floor ever got wet.?
Are you still using the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors?

The dealer is the LAST place to take an out of warranty vehicle for service, their rates are the highest and the quality of service is usually poor.
Do a search regarding H3 Hummer Battery Terminal Connectors. Yes, they are the #1 known cause for electrical Gremlins and should be the first mod done to every H3/3T and your dealer hasn't a clue. When/if you do the Google search, one of the first images that will be displayed is my old H3 with a set of Stinger Battery Terminal Connectors.
The next largest cause for Gremlins is clogged sunroof drains. Sunroofs require maintenance, all of them in every vehicle. The average schmuck thinks maintenance is putting gas in the tank and going to a Quicky Lube joint when the change oil light shows up. The H3 should have a mod fix to cut out the "X" in the sunroof drain termination grommets so crud can flow out instead of build up and clog the drains. When sunroof drains are clogged, they allow the sunroof drain tray to overflow onto the headliner, water then drains down the A Pillars to the floor (or out the O Star speaker/mic). On the way down the passenger side A Pillar is the H3 Body Control Module (BCM) behind the passenger side kick plate which controls all the body electrical functions. BCMs do not like to get wet and short when they do, causing all kinds of crazy issues. Think of a BCM like a cell phone, first time one gets a little moist, it might dry out and be fine, it might not. Next time it gets wet....... gets worse.
The number one cause of a sunroof drain becoming disconnected is.... a lazy person deciding to use compressed air to blow out the clogged drain tubes. Doesn't work, pops the hose off either the sunroof drain tray or termination grommet ends or their connectors. Search clogged sunroof drains, all kinds of info out their on the inter web. Who'd a thunk, operating a 10+ year old vehicle takes some work????

Ok, thanx for the advice well taken...but imagine who would of thunk my 21 yr old Tahoe 300k needs no work, seems these h3's have been a nightmare for many, Cant wait to read the complaints on the new electric models
When you read forums, you read comments from complainers. You don't see too many people posting in to say, my 11 year old H3 with XXX miles is all good, A OK, just stopping by to let everyone know.
My 2 H3s had/have zero issues, same with my 50 year old Oldsmobile.....
