What about ground clearing?

This new bumper seems to give the H3 very little ground clearing, or am I wrong?

No change in ground clearance. It looks likeprimarily a color/finish change to me.

The main reason I boughta new 2007 a week was to avoid that FUGLY lower bumper!

I'd do the same, but I'd also take an alpha any day regardless of the silver bumper.
