Looking for lower steering shaft part number 25900715. No stock anywhere. Can I use part number 25900714? Someone also said the 25900714 is 1/2” shorter than the 259715! Someone also said only difference is the 715 has a heat shield around the rubber boot. Just checking to see if anyone has used the 714 steering shaft on their 2008 H3 Alpha with 5.3 liter?

715 has hi-temp flexible duct around the boot. Get the 714 and reuse the heat shield or install a new piece flexible duct.
