Default 2007 H3- Service 4WD/ Rear Diff Lock Flashes

Does anyone have any recommendations on what the fix may be for the symptoms below?

Service 4WD messages are intermittently appearing in the driver information center (directly in front of the driver).

Rear locking differential indicator light is intermittently flashing on the transfer control buttons (on the center dashboard).

This seems to happen at the same time. The truck drives fine with no apparent issues.

Hook up a scanner and read the codes. You will need a decent scanner that can read ABS codes and body codes.

What Taint said.

Another easy thing to look at is the T Case Actuator Motor. When they get wet, the motor itself and/or the wiring harness & Connectors (corrosion) to it can cause that issue. Get under and look. Inspect the wiring harness for chaffing, compromise, cracks, rot etc... Use CRC Electronic cleaner to clean the both sides of the connector at the Actuator, let dry and snap back together.

This chit is a MUST HAVE when you have an older vehicle.
