2006 H3 stuck in 4hi lock
2006 H3 adventure pkg, i5, 96k miles. While stuck in a ditch, I put it in neutral and selected 4hi. It clicked over to 4hi and climbed right out. I put it back in neutral and switched it back to 4wd. Now, it still feels like its in 4 hi lock. It binds while turning, stops itself in drive thrus, and really grabs the road while driving on rough roads. I pulled the transfer case off and cracked it open. Everything looked good, but the plastic fork was done. Replaced it with a metal one and reinstalled with new fluid. Also replaced the front diff fluid. No change whatsoever! Any suggestions how I can fix this? Thanks in advance!

Your switches & light indicators work? Any codes?
You do not need anything to do with neutral to shift to HiLock. Have you backed up on loose surface turning back and forth? That is usually all you need to do to unload the torque built up holding it in HiLock.
Clean the T Case control buttons with CRC Electronics Cleaner. On a loose surface, shift into Hi Lock drive a short distance, then Lo Lock drive a short distance, then shift back to Hi Lock, and then back to Hi.
If none of that works, check the shift motor and its electrical connections.

A number of 4WD switches have been received through the Warranty Parts Center that show obvious signs of contamination caused by liquids being spilled through the HVAC vents.
