There you go again, you overheated, replaced the ect sensor on a hot engine, confirmed the same issue on a test drive, tested again at idle, all within the last couple hours. Now you can't just check your ambient temp on the rear view mirror.
Do you know where the ambient sensor is located?

Still fine? Yes, you can also drive at 220°F, you could even drive with the temp higher. However, every time you run the temp higher than normal, you are causing excessive wear on the engine. I recommend to stay

When diagnosing it helps to know the ACCURATE, ambient temp & iat, to determine a source of high ect.
