Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
I have a constant drip of PS fluid where the hoses from the PS pump connect to the steering gear (or rack and pinion). I can't find any reference to power steering hose seals at the parts stores. Can someone tell me what the seals look like, where I can get them, and if it is a difficult job to replace them? Is the same seal used for both hose connections? I can access the area easily enough (once I rotated the fan shroud out of the way). I tried tightening the bolt securing the hold down plate, but the drip seemed to get worse. I attached a picture showing the connection.
There is 1 O-ring on each of the tubes.
I'm not sure of their diameter or thickness but I have replaced one after loosing it while swapping out a new rack.

Do you remember where you got the replacement o-ring?
@TAINTER Do you remember which size the o-rings were? A friend of mine does HVAC too, I also have a set of black ones(std. sizes) I got a few years ago.
Thank you.
