I have a lead on OEM tail light guards. I can't tell if they go right onto the SUT though. I don't see why I couldn't modify but am wondering. Also are the tail lights interchangeable? I have a crack in one. I'm also noticing that some, maybe 2003-2004 H2 lights seem to be red, orange, white whereas mine are just red and white. I have a 2005 SUT.

 

For your 2005 Hummer H2 SUT, OEM tail light guards should generally fit, but you’re correct that some modifications might be needed, especially if they were designed for different model years or for the SUV variant. The mounting points are usually similar across H2 models, but subtle differences in trim can sometimes cause fitment issues.

 

How did the OEM guards attach? It seems like a lot of them just use 3M tape. Thanks.
