Default Spare Tire and Arm Removal??

Whats involved in removing the spare tire and the arm that holds it?? I have seen a few photos of SUT's with the spare and arm off and they look sharp.
Not too mention it would make accessing the tailgate much easier.

Thanks.

Um, remove the 5 bolts that hold it on, locate some tow hooks from an SUV that had an interior mounted spare tire, and either buy a plate reloacation kit or make your own. I made my own. Dont forget a plate light, just spline it into the original plate wiring. I rounted mine through the bolt hole that will remain open when the SUV tow hooks are intalled.
