Default Midgate window fuse

For anyone who didn’t know your midgate does have a fuse it is AUX POW 2 located in the driver side panel fuse box.

my midgate has been rolled down and now will not go back up. I’ve already had Enough water trouble with my truck I really don’t need anymore issues and it’s rainy season here in iowa.! Yeah for me but it’s not making any noises when I push either button and the midgate it’s self will not unlatch and lay down. If you have any suggestion let me know I’m going to start with seeing if the modules have power then move to the switch ugh

There are 2 latch switches one on each side that must be electrically closed for power to the window motor to be provided. Most of the time either one of the 2 switches is not closing preventing the power to the motor. A couple of checks you can make at the midgate control module the Orange wire pins 10 and 20 should have 12 and also on pin 8. Pins 6 and 16 black should be grounded. When the midgate window switch is pressed up the tan wire on pin2 should go to 12v. The down button will make pin 3 on the white lead switch to 12v. When the key is on the window switch should also have 12 volts on the blue wire. You should be able to verify the grounds and voltages easily. The panel on the inside can be removed from the midgate to access the motor and regulator assembly and switches.
