My first Hummer! On 15July, I purchased a used 2005 SUT, blue/gray with 44k on it. Just got back from the first family road trip (874miles round trip); it handled itself quite nicely and everyone enjoyed the ride immensly. Going over the pass, it bogged a bit and would top out at 78mph (I tend to cruiz 80 in the 70 zones). Hope to improve the bog with a Superchips tuner arriving later this week along with a KN cold air intake. Still debating on the exhaust (headers-back or cat-back.?.?.?).
Does anyone else experience "Hummer Envy" while on the road? I don't know how many people would actually speed up to not let me pass, cut me off, crowd in, etc. while driving. I never experienced such things while driving my 2002 GMC Sierra K2500 with 6"lift and 35's, so it must have been the "envy" as my wife nicely put it.

 

Add me to the list...I bought it new in Dec 04. It's the best truck I've ever owned!

 

I just went from an H3X to a H2SUT. What an awesome truck. I have it 5 days and cant believe how different it is from the 3. Wish I could get a few more mpg.
