Default Xm module harness question

Im trying to add xm to my h2 . Already have the xm module I cant find the harness that plugs into the module anywhere. Today i got half of the harness from the junkyard . Yes one end was just cutoff . The other end that plugs into the module its complete . My question is (where does the other end goes ??? To the back of the radio ?? If anyone has a wiring diagram that would help me alot . im willing to rewire everything myself . Thanks in advance .

Yes, junkyards cut wires at the unit. Xm module connects to the radio. You can search any year 2003-2009 GM vehicle and get the harness needed. Here's an installation guide for reference: sirgm1c

I tryed a harness and returned yesterday after getting on the phone with the seller they had no clue why it was not working . Thats the reason why im trying to do it myself and also noticed how the same xm module has diferent wire configuration.

Not factory installed requires a T-harness.

on mine they had the power wires routed through the dash connected to the fuse panel on drivers side dash. and the XM SIR-GM1 unit was tucked behind the 4 X 4 switch location

you know what after trying to make my own harness im thinking buying a kit that’s ready is a better option. I had seen the module you posted online but without the harness 😞 ..

i removed mine because it was not working i would go to xm on the radio but would not hear anything not even commercials. i was getting a network buss error code on the scan tool. once i removed it it went away and no more issues. also i don't know if that module still works and receives stations as XM changed frequencies a few years ago. like the onstar module.
