I had to drill a couple horizontal holes in the winch mount to use the front receiver.
Thanks for the input. Ive been checking the tigershark and looks like a great deal . The reviews are almost perfect. Even there is a small difference in price compared to HF Im leaning to this one due to the reviews .
I got a Northen tools and a HF near . Will go to check both ..
Which quick connect did you use .. Is there any specific mount need it .
How about opening the hood with the winch mounted
Thx

Northern Tool sells the connections, I'll get a pic later. Have to take it off to open the hood. No big deal really. I got the winch mount for the receiver at Tractor supply.

Thanks . Im going for the tigershark. Great reviews and a solid company at a great price
Which mount plate did you use. I was looking for the sw2050 from superwinch, I like the look in photos but when installed looks too bulky

Here's some pics...it sticks out and looks big and ugly and I love it! It adds to the look of the truck. I'm sure the mall crawler housewives on here will hate it. I have the locking pin in there that can't be cut. I can move this to the rear if I have to....I included my disconnect on the back. Keep in mind the front receiver hole is horizontal so get a big drill bit. Also...the winch doesn't come with the fairlead roller, the mount does.

make sure you get a good lock for that beast.

if i had the cash, a 12k warn and saddle would be quite sweet. run wires front and back just in case and call it a day. thats if i had the cash anyway LOL

Hf winch doesnt seems as a bad idea but after comparing with superwinch 9500 the saving is not worth it . For $50 more superwinch give you a more reliable , the. Reviews on the Hf are very mixed however Sw got almost 100% happy customers

I was tempted to get the *Warn Powerplant HD but too much $ for what I need ... Im still debating if should get it ..
I want a winch cause it looks cool and protect the front but hurts to had to remove it everytime I got to check under the hood(which I do often)
I guess this weekend Im going to pull the trigger
