Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

What part am I missing on my headlight to keep the bulb in place?

Sure I looked at a bunch of parts on eBay and I saw it looks like there’s a lightbulb retaining clip that holds the lightbulb in place. The issue is that I’m replacing all aftermarket headlights, etc. with factory ones and I couldn’t figure out why the bulb wouldn’t stay in place It appears there’s a retaining clip that holds it in place. Now the problem is, I have to find these retaining clips. I’m assuming they fit other GM vehicles but when I Google search it for a hummer, I don’t find any.

Any auto parts store... You can take a headlight housing in to test fit. Pretty much standard on all GM and other makes probably more specific to the type of bulb, than vehicle.
Halogen 9007 retaining ring.

If you have a part number, that would be super helpful. I went to three different auto parts places today and none had a clue what I’m talking about. The help section didn’t have it. The GM dealership said they came with the headlight assembly and they discontinued it years ago.
not one associate could find. Thanks

Not sure the part number. Ask him at the auto parts store for one that fits a 2003 Tahoe.... Should be the same.

Excellent 👍
It's amazing how many parts out there fit our H2's, but they don't bother adding the H2 to the list of compatible vehicles. Take some creative searching sometimes!
