Default What Grade Of Gas Can You Put In a H2?

Hello i am looking to buy an H2 with in the next month or so. what grade of gas can you put in an H2 my father has had an 01 gmc denali and an 03 escalade when he bought both vechicles the sales managers told him he can put 87 grade gas in bothtrucks. so i was wonderingif anyone has put in the lowest grade in there hummer h2 and how has the performance been. thanks

all 3 trucks are based off of the same engine design so 87 is standard in all three. higher octane fuel will not make anything better unless you use a custom tune to use the higher octane fuel.

I run 93 in mine, I've got a tune that depends on it.

87 on mine and at least 3 to 4 times per year i do a tank of 93 . But 87 it is.

I use Premium 91 octane, because unlike the 87 octane the 91 is ethanol free. Now that my rig is not a daily driver, I do not want the nasty ethanol fuel in it.

Might be true in Kansas, but not nationwide. I have stations near me in MI in the summer that have No etoh, Low etoh, E85, racing fuel, and Av gas. You pick what you want.

Just like sugar-free: not containing sugar : containing an artificial sweetening substance instead of sugar.
Btw, 98%+ of gasoline in the U.S. contains some ethanol.
Nothing wrong with ethanol, I've been drinking it since the 70's.

E85 is the best option, when the bars are closed.
