Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

What did I buy?

Default What did I buy?

Longtime H3T owner, new H2 owner. Needed more towing capacity, so bought a 2008 H2 with 200k+ miles. Seems to run fine, but has several electrical gremlins most likely induced by the previous owner. I'm most curious about the non-factory grill and other badges that say "Asanti LS". I can't find anything specific, but it might refer to an engine/transmission swap that was usually done on earlier model H2's, upgrading them from the 6.0 and 4-speed auto to the 6.2 and 6-speed auto. Based on the lack of oil leaks and oil burn, it's quite possible this is a recent or rebuilt engine. Anyone have any knowledge of this badge? Does it add/detract value? I don't care for the grill and prefer the factory grill but want to make sure I'm no taking away value.

That was some bling accessory package that was popular when the H2 was the vehicle of choice for wannabe rappers. It has no bearing on the drivetrain or options from GM.

Thanks, that's the answer I'm looking for. I've already replaced the front grill and will remove the others as time allows. I prefer the factory "look".

I fell in love with the H2 HUMMERS after working on the military HMMWV.s for about 3 years. serving in the USMC. The most I've done to the H2's I've owned was put a lift kit on them to give them even more of a rugged look. The first H2 I've owned has a lot of added chrome, but I thought the amount of chrome that was added to my first H2 was tast

efully installed.

Black and Chrome are Nice look on any rig. I like the look of a Black Harley with Chrome Pipes .Your H2 looks like it means business.

Even though some people Poo Poo the Sportster ...I like it (The Big CC one) as it's simple and clean. Not into all that bulk and stuff hanging off the rear. I stopped riding years ago. I almost killed myself on a Honda Magna "V-65" 110HP ...1st gear went out to 70 MPH @10 Krpm Redline. Never owned a Harley.but wanted the Big CC sportster.

Sportsters are pretty cool, I have had several over the years, just sold my 77 XLCR last year.
