Yep, I"m old also. And my H2 will be with me till the end. I remember someone posting about that. When I drop it off for the work I'll have Mat the Mechanic take pic's as he disassembles the H2. I post pic's here so we can see what's going on. Hopefully, we can get to the bottom of this defect.

Yep one of the first things I did. Use low pressure compressed air from my Air compressor...also got one of the flex brush thingy things with the long feed wire and ran it thru. Tested it with bottled water poured slowly in the sun roof drain channel. It came out at the underside of the 2. So I know that's clear

Also Every spring I check the sunroof drain channel and clean the gack from there. I once pried the headliner down to where you could see the tube connection It was good to go. Thanks for the suggestion.

How fast does the water flow out? I use a beer pitcher filled with various soaps/cleaners & hot water....it drains as fast as I pour it in.

That's great. The only time I ever had a leak inside my 3 was due to clogged drains which I modified. Now a 20yrold parked outside without leaks inside.

You are the man! I wish my 2 was like that. Hopefully when I take it in for service they can fix the leak problem. Now I am having this weird thang with the Air Ride. See my post on this.

https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...e-thang-49413/

When I take it in I'll have them replace the bags and sort out the Compressor thing. It might be a slow leak somewhere in that Comp assembly. That complete unit is no longer available. I did find one in the UK for $3800.00 and change brand new original unit. I remember when they sold for about $2700.00 years back complete.

But, all the parts I see for it are available. So I plan to drop between 3 to 4 K to fix my 2. Am I Nuts....??? Nah..Cheaper the buying a new car. Only has 80K on the clock.

last time you replaced a air bag was 16 years ago in 2010 so maybe the bags have cracks by now. My last set of tires where 13 years old. still had plenty of meat and looked great but had cracks in the treads those lost air monthly.

Jap tires!
My Generals Grabber AT2 are over 12 years old (0514=5th week 2014) I installed myself back in 2014 never needs air & not cracking.
General Tire is currently owned by Continental AG Germany
My wife also loves the Continental Cross Contact ATR tires I put on her ride.

Today's pictures of the tires
