Remove the screws and look on the back coil/magnet for identification.

thanks hummerz that's very kind of you to post images . it's cold outside kindof wanted to avoid removeing speakers.would you happen to have images of Bose head unit an amp.an there locations?
mine appear to be Bose. looks like the fronts are 6.5" an rears are 5.25" I see the tiny ones in apillar an the mids in rear hatch area but
1.where is the odd one upper right of image what I think is a sub. located? could those ribbon cables plug into a amp?
2. are the bose speakers amplified or just powered from the head unit? if amplified where is the amp located?

3.I see a small silver box under the driver side 2nd row seat, it appears to be audio/video related it's unplgged?
the cable has similar pinned terminator as my boats chart plotter/dept. finder so I assume it was the original GPS box plus it's dissconnected.

I make this assumption bc 1 it's dissconnected an 2 there appears to be a after market GPS antenna on the dash.

4.the audio sys. sounds pretty good. why is the sound quality so good?
5.does the Pioneers 24 bit digital to analog converter enhance the audio?
6.Pioneers make excellent audio equipment I believe this head unit puts out 14watts X 4 which isn't over powering. wonder what the Bose HU puts out?

if it's not to complicated I wouldn't mind removing a Bose complete speaker sys.w/ another Pioneer NAV HU an installing into my van.
edit: I would like to remove the on star fuse where is it located an what is this fuse referred to?
thanks for advice

the crusty box says it is a fm audio transmitter so most likely aftermarket probably some entertainment system or dvd player or game console audio interface
the bose amp is bolted to the floor inside of the center console.
the bose subwoofer is on the firewall side, center clusterfuk / airbox / center console transmission hump area

Before you spend more money on a sound system, spend some on a vacuum cleaner and a wet rag, LOL!

Why is there mold growing on the dash, wiring, and everything else? Is this a flood salvage? Yikes!

I am constantly astonished at how your typical H2 owner abuses their vehicle….

RE #1 - That odd speaker is part of the delux Bose system in the center section. See attached pics of Audio system speakers.
RE #2 - it is under the center console (under the console storage compartment).
RE #3 - some PO aftermarket item. Get rid of it.
RE #4 - BOSE systems are VERY good quality. My 03 system sounds great. When alone, throw a CD in there and crank it up - sounds like I'm in a concert hall. Plenty good for us "average" people. A lot of the audiophiles will disagree. If you like it, why spend money you can use to repair/upgrade some other item.

I have no input for 5 & 6.
Enjoy your ride.

never noticed the mold in the H2 good eye, I had the same problem w/ my T-top trans am just a tiny bit of dipping water made a huge mess, I killed it w/ white vinagur.

thanks for exploded view so #9 is the sub. weird it's made by ac delco or they probley just put there name on it.

wonder how hard it would be to remove from another H2 all components including wiring an transplant into another vehical like my van which has a seriously weak audio sys.
