Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Something tells me that you may actually be the Chinese seller.
The dead give-away was when you said you have the password to the password-protected software......

I would like to hear from someone who has been on this forum for more than a month, who actually got this thing to work completely integrated to the car's controls and optional above-board modules linked to the OEM deck, like overhead backup camera (mine has it), ONStar, etc.

I hope for the seller's and buyer's sake that this thing actually works.
I DO like the look of it! It makes the dash much more modern.
It was a good idea for the manufacturer to realize there is a market for these Hummer retrofits.
But this retrofit seems to remove the ONStar unit, as there is now no more room for it?

One other thing: Some H2 have carbon fiber dipped bezels.
Mine SE does. But I would have to trade that in for a plain aftermarket bezel if I went this route.
Would be nice if seller offered an OEM look in both versions of bezels. Not too hard to dip these small parts.

Wow, believe what you want, I just joined the forum to HELP “Hummerian” with his problem, if you READ my FIRST post EVER it was directed to him and ONLY HIM (who already owns a unit) to help him with his problem.

Also I did not promote the radio AT ALL until YOU asked me directly if they are worth it !!!

And yes I do have the password because I just installed mine 2 weeks ago and I got the password from the vendor in order to get my steering wheel controls to work … So instead of accusing people, you should first get your story straight, and read ALL my posts again (not too hard since I only got 3 including this one. And all are on this same thread),I could really care less if you buy it or not, I was just trying to help a fellow Hummer owner who was having an issue for almost a year with something I figured out the solution !!!

OK then, I stand corrected. It was very nice of of you to join this forum JUST so you could help out another member. Unusual, but great!
That is what this forum is all about, helping each other.

The password for the advanced settings is 3368 (at least on my unit), there you can enable the steering wheel controls, and also adjust many other settings too.

I have this system fully configured and working, I have 0 complains, if you need any more help just let me know.

Default The latest Android version

Here is the latest Android 11.0 version with an included bezel for the H2: https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...57135dfamJBWTg
I have also seen a couple other Androids with bezels for an H2 on Amazon and here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...4e64db%21%21sh

I like the clean OEM look of the ones with the included bezel; but, I am also considering the Alpine ilx-F411 with the 11" floating screen on sale only at Best Buy: Alpine 11" Android Auto/Apple CarPlay™ Built-in Bluetooth Floating Screen Digital Multimedia Receiver Black iLX-F411 - Best Buy My favorite is either the 10.1" or 11.6" Joying units:
Amazon Amazon
I believe these can fit reasonably well centered horizontally below the A/C vents. These will overlay the 4x4 buttons own the left; but, I don't ever use 4x4 anyway.

I will post pics once I make a decision & have it installed. I am leaning toward a Joying.

Today is 6/5/2023. About 3 months ago I had a professional install the 6GB version Kirinavi into my H2 that I purchased from Ali Express.. It was advertised as an Android 11; but, the Android’s device info in its settings states it is Android 12. Most install guys have very little experience and the instructions are very limited in regard to programming and enabling accessories to operate. I did get them all operable with some internet research. The only thing remaining unsuccessful is getting the Steering Wheel Connection to operate. I e-mailed Kirinavi's support; but, I have not been responded to. I suspect the SWC doesn't operate because the Kirinavi Android "does not" have an H2 to choose from amongst the vehicle selections in the settings which one would not expect considering this model is advertised directly for an H2. I chose GM All models instead. Also, the vehicle pictured on the home-page cannot be changed to an H2; but, I installed the Agama car launcher as a homepage & it provides a Hummer logo in the center. In spite of the issues mentioned, the Android with wireless car-play performs well. Navigation through car-play is great on the large screen. The sound is very good too & it looks great in the H2. The wi-fi usually says out-of-range thus I just use car-play.

I am leaning toward pulling the trigger on an Android to modernize my H2 a bit. I like the clean OEM look of it. However, I am also considering the Alpine ilx-F411 with the 11" floating screen on sale only at Best Buy: Alpine 11" Android Auto/Apple CarPlay™ Built-in Bluetooth Floating Screen Digital Multimedia Receiver Black iLX-F411 - Best Buy

Hello. I am new here and just purchased a H2. I have had quite a few of these units. In my highlander, venza, Escalade and ordered one for my h2. Although mine will not be the larger size as the 03-07 model years, it will allow more freedom. I have not had an issue. there is a facebook group and a man that sales the software to update it. He is very responsive and I have never had issues.

Can anyone with at least a 100 posts on this forum verify that they installed this thing, and that it actually works? Too many one-post guys on here, so I am suspicious and a couple of years have gone by.

I suspect this thing is bogus. But I hope it is not, and hope it works.

I can not install it on my H2 as I have an over-board on the NAV screen for a high mounted backup cam display, and running a special edition center console bezel that looks like CF and matches rest of interior. Just asking for a friend

Maybe you should look for the fb group. That may answer the questions for your friend.
