Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Look harder, do some research.

You have a GM truck with a 6.0 engine. Search for one for a GM truck instead of Hummer H2..... only difference might be you have to slightly modify the air intake or something but the engine, wiring, etc are the exact same.

A turbo would be cheaper and easier. Also your trans probably wont last long. Like mixman said there's tons of info on this. I did an LQ4 turbo swap in my gbody. I can give you some tips and tuning advice if you go that route.

I finally found a supercharger and just finished installing it. What a difference it makes.

This is a friend's set up. It ate up three transmission rebuilds in 4 years, but he was never mellow on the pedal. I took the pic standing behind the open hood.

how much boost are you making?
at what RPM do you notice the boost?

After I get my gears installed this is the next upgrade so I'm curious as many feel the centrifugal has lag and does not work on a heavy truck.

Thanks Neal

Boost Pressure is 8 - 9 PSIG.
At about 2500 RPM .
Even with 37's and a lift it drives great.

Thanks for your response,

at 2500 its at 8 or 9 psi or the boost starts building at 2500 rpm?

Neal
