Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Would anyone have or know where to get some of these chips fairly quickly?
They are available from eBay, china etc but they are quite long lead times.
Got a Drivers Door Module that's unresponsive, the CPU is running but this chip is killing an input data line. The chip controls the Folding mirrors, Up/Down, Heater and the power to the heated seat lights.
I suspect because CPU can't communicated to this device the system just "hangs" so nothing else works.
Any help much appreciated.
If you go with a used DDM be aware that if yours has the global windows buttons on the heated seats button panel than you must get one from an H2 that has the global windows. 03 and 04 did not have that feature and it cannot be reprogrammed to add it either..... I added the feature to mine. Just the button panel would not do it (Tech2 registered pressing the buttons) and I was unable to force it to take programming for a newer DDM so I ended up buying a newer DDM to make the global windows on my 03 work.
Indeed a junk unit would be OK and I thank you very much for the offer. I do have some chips on order, if they don't materialize then of course your offer would be great.
As my plan is to swap out just the chip, so it won't matter where it comes from.
