Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Side Steps

Is there anyone out there making bolt-on steps similar to the LE or U-steps ? I've been searching but come up empty...

Seems to be pretty fairly priced. I asked a welding buddy of mine who's done a few things for my H2 and he said making 4 steps like that and powder coating was going to be 600ish

The brackets on those seem insanely thin. U's were prone to be broken when going offroad, I could not imagine those brackets holding up to anything if they were struck.

Remember you usually get what you pay for. I have new LE steps for sale. $1200 shipped for a set of 4.

No I didnt. I sell U steps for 1k a set and LE steps 1200 a set. those prices have been the same in forever. if you want to buy it on Ebay its even more due to ebay fees. There is a guy selling a set of U steps for $1300. Haha. I'm usually less money than others because I always ask for lower than other sellers on ebay. And if the seller is asking a low price I buy them all.

U-Steps were meant to be removed before going off road hence the single release threaded ****. Be a shame to break a step these days.
