Check for bad grounds. High resistance connections. Both front and rear clearance lights come from the fuse block in the engine bay. The I/P (instr. panel) harness leaves the fuse block on the rear side and goes through the firewall in a big ruber grommet. The I/P fuse panel is left near the left kick panel. The splice where the f/r seperate is near the light under the dash (about 2.25" away from where it entera the I/P haness) the front roof harness hooks into the I/P junction block on the pass side Connector C6. If you can get hold of a manual (hummer H2 service manual Vol 2) schematics are on pg. 8-276. Clearance lamp trouble shooting is on 8-369. Mind you that I am looking at a 2003 H2 manual. But It shouldn't be much difference.
I had a much deataied answer, but it took so long that my logon timed out.
Hope this helps.

And most people are aware of the decal on the underside of the fuse box lid (and is also in the owners manual).
