There also is a product that Summit Racing sells.... it's called Night Shades. I used it to smoke the side marker lens on a Vette... if done correctly it looks nice.... and it's about $10

 

do the middle lens just pop off I notice the outside ones got screws

 

The three in the middle on each end come off in one piece by pushing something thin under one side or the other. Look at photos of one on eBay up close and you can see how the metal catch on the one side is set.

 

usually you can push towards the side with the notch and lift out the opposite side. if they have not been siliconed in by now. they are very susceptible to gasket failures and leak water into the truck hence why some people choose to silicone them on. they do sell new gaskets but you can also just make some out of black neoprene rubber about a 1/4" thick. thats what i chose to do.
