Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
What is the connector used for the roof light? I'm hoping someone has possibly found a vehicle with the mating connector, that I could find at the junkyard. It appears to be similar to a map sensor plug. thanks
I thought it was for the roof light bar option. I have the switch on the overhead console. I assumed the switch was for the light bar. The connector looks factory, it was tucked under the roof bar bracket.
Ah - that it might be! I did not think about that. The optional brush guard lights use the same switch but a different connector behind the grille. It also seems that some dealers were too lazy to run the wires to the ceiling console and installed the switch under the rear wiper ****.
Most standard DC 12 volt lights are simply battery and ground.
On the ground side you really need no return other than to connect to the roof metal anywhere. Simply run from your switch from any 12 volt source to the hot side ( Black lead typically)
