Ran my H2 out of gas a week ago.

After filling the tank up it starts up and drive for about a mile before it sputters and dies. Once I try to crank it again it acts as if its not getting fuel. If I let it sit for about 5 mins it will sometimes start back up.

This issue started when I ran out of gas. No prior issues with starting.

I can hear the fuel pump click when I turn the key. So my question is does this sound more like a fuel pump on its last leg or possible air in the fuel lines from cranking to many times from when I ran out of gas?

I'm sure i'm not the first lol.

 

It wont be air in the lines as your H2 is self priming. I would say it's time for a new pump. Don't buy a cheap pump. AC Delco is your best bet on a new fuel pump.
