Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Prospective H2 Buyer

Always been a Hummer fanboy since a kid and wanted to take a plunge but the bad publicity always scared me off. Hearing rumors of used Hummers probably holding their value/ going up as well maybe? Been looking at 2008/ 09 ~100K miles H2's that fit my budget.

Any recent H2 buyers want to share your feedback and if happy with purchase/ driving experience driving down the road? is it true other tree hugging EV drivers flicking you off or staring at you for 'destroying' the planet? With the Hummer EV round the corner I think the brand is making a comeback

if anything now might be a good time to get a used H2...thoughts? Would I regret it?

You will not regret it as long as you don't buy a pile, the parameters you picked should get you a nice rig, I'm thinking that the prices might come down about with the gas prices skyrocketing. Let's Go Brandon.

Buy one that is mostly all original and unmodified, and not rusty. Brace yourself for terrible gas mileage.

Yeah the gas prices are ridiculous especially when u average 11 mpg. Still take our tank around but not as much.

as mentioned above check for rust and no mods. The more original the better. Check history for accidents. Our rig has 440k although on second engine and transmission but it runs awesome. I do my own work on it and keep it well maintained. I want another one for a project too.

good luck

For an 08 in good unmolested shape with 100k miles, that sounds like a very very good price to me.
