Default Plasti-Dipped my wheels black on my H2

Last weekend I sprayed black Plasti-Dip on the wheels of my H2. Read about this stuff in another forum and I LOVE the way my wheels came out! I'm not sure how long it will last, but thats whats great about this stuff... If it looks like ****, you can just peel it off! It was very time comsuming since I took each wheel off, masked off the tire, and applyed 3 coats each, but for only $5.99 a can at Lowes it was very well worth it! Check it out

Looks very nice. How many cans did you use total to achieve that?

not bad I had wondered what this would look like. I just Plasti-Dipped by chrome stock fuel door last night and got it installed today-so much better with the matte black than the chrome. I'm interested myself how it will hold up!

It ended up taking 5 cans to do all 4 wheels

I was very impressed by how it came out. Completely altered the look of my H2. It really turns some heads now. Now i'm just hoping it can hold up. I have been through the automatic wash twice so far with no issues. I guess the true test will be the salt and cold next winter. Either way it is well worth the 30 bucks!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

looks good. I'd like to do this to my front chrome grill and a few other chrome peaces. I'm curious how it stands the test of time and how easy it will be to touch up.

not sure, people do whole cars with the stuff so it must be pretty darn durable. I'm worried to run mine through a car wash with just my fuel door being sprayed but maybe it would be fine....
