Default Place to buy black Grille Guard?

Hey all,

Just bought a Hummer. Got the luxury edition and getting rid of the chrome piece by piece. Thing I'm trying to do right now is get a black grille guard.

I don't even want it to say HUMMER across the front. Just looking for it to match the paint. I'll letter it how I want.

I searched and found a few on here that had been sold before, but it was years ago.

Anyone know where to look?

Most body shops have told me shaving down the factory one will probably make it snap under heat. Also, don't even know if the letters are attached or not.

Thanks.

Oh wow. Yeah, OEM unpainted with the vertical bars from the shop was only $589. Looked just like what's on there.

I've seen all that stuff. Looking to do something a bit different with mine. Need those vertical bars.

Appreciate it.

I have a black grill that will fit a 2003 to 2007 H2. I bought it for my 2008 only to find out that it won't fit my 08. I live in Michigan. PM me and I will sell it to you.

The issue with your OEM parts is that they're going to say HUMMER on them, so I'm going to need to then find out how to rip that out, fill it and paint that too if possible.

I've had a few people offer me their black ones. If you are interested in selling them just shoot me a PM with the price and I'll let you know. Those have been pretty easy to find on the internet.

Never thought of the LINE X and I can't believe I didn't. It would make it impossible to do what I want to the separate bars, but I like the idea of it.

I'm blacking out my black Hummer. Finding it difficult to find things I like, wheels for example. Things that fit I don't like. Things I like don't fit.

It's a bit of a pain in the *** to customize. Lot different than my SRT-10 was.

The LINE-X idea works great and doing this you should be able to cover up the Hummer Logo on the factory grill easy.
