Finally getting around to working on my H2 build. Made the roof rack and front bumper few years back but then got sidelined and haven't had much time to work on it.
Working on all new braking system and suspension system ATM.
As I go, I'm corrosealing and putting an encapsulating top coat. Corroseal is pricey but effective. Here's some pictures.

Here's a few better pictures from camping last year. Mine has air ride, and I'm going to go the route of MixManSC and others and do the 2" lift. I'd like to get a 1" body lift as well but all I've seen so far are for H3 and H2s only have 2" puck kits. Anyone piece part a 1" body lift?

Oh my god. Was that #3 on the side when you bought it? There’s a guy on YouTube by the name “hummuhs horsepower” who owned it when he passed away a few years ago. Really nice guy and he loved that thing.

He bought it from a YouTuber “the Burlacher” who bought it from a really popular YouTuber “Hoovies Garage.” That truck has a hell of a history.

1 down, 3 to go. Corroseal and por15 on the frame, new bump stop, skyjacker black max shock, all new brake components.

 

I replaced all my shocks 3 months ago with the black max shocks. They were pretty crappy. I just replaced with bilstiens last week.Huge improvement. Not busting your rig. Just relaying some info.

 

Thanks, I have similar concerns. I got them so cheap, I figured they may be awful. Reviews are mixed. I'm driving it the next few weeks before I tear down the front end suspension, so they're getting a trial run.
What didnt you like about them? Seems most complaints are they're too soft.

 

Yes extremely soft. I had them on my 2016 Silverado and they were ok. I think the H2 is just too heavy for them. Amazing difference with the Bilstiens.
