Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

I don't but I'll take a shot.. If that's the cross hatch protection section, then I would unbolt it and heat it with a Butane torch or similar and lay it on a flat surface and work out the kink with a hammer and a piece of flat wood. Those tubes on my 2009 are hollow. They are not solid and you should at least get most of it straight. That piece is not very strong. Mines been off a few times for above area service.

But I bet some of the guys here who have taken their 2 apart down to the bone will come up with some other suggestions. We Got's some smart people here

Anyway..it looks like it did it's job absorbing what could have been something worse. There are also aftermarket underbody protection bolt ons that are really heavy duty for your H2, Some of the guys here can steer you to some stronger devices and where to get them.

maybe a piece of 3/4" plywood sheet over it and some cardboard under it on a nice flat piece of concreat then run the truck over it.
we usually use the hydraulic outriggers on our crane to flatten out mistakes lol.

I took mine off and drove over it to straighten it back out. Same for the H1s. It isn't perfect but it works pretty well. I had one friend that had a eye hook buried in the concrete under his lift. He would hook a chain to the UCP and eye hook and slowly raise his lift as he pulled out the bent parts.

I never thought about running it over. That’s actually a fantastic idea.

My first H2 SUT had one that was bent up, I took it off and as some have suggested placed a piece of wood over it and straightened it out by driving over it with my Duramax Dually. It wasn't perfect but it did the job, lol
