Default Oil cooler lines leaking

Lines starting to leak says the shop. How hard are they to replace? They quoted me $400 parts+labor. How much are just the parts?

When mine go bad I am going to do away with them. I don't tow much anymore to need the oil cooling benifit and the thought of a line popping off and losing my oil while traveling down the Fwy. is not a good one.

Your quote is not too bad. Did they quote GM hoses or the Dorman Chinese hoses?

It's OEM parts. Looks like the hoses themselves are $250. It's under warranty, so I'm trying to get the dealer to cover it. I had hte truck a week before it was back in the shop for 4 days now with a mountain of work being done.

I WANT MY DAMNED HUMMER BACK!

I've been driving a chevy trax for the past 4 days and it is the worst thing in the world. No traction, hydroplanes in the rain, has obscene body roll, obscenely small, and unpleasant in every way.

Looks like it time for some new oil lines on the 08 H2, mine are starting to ooz at the compression points where the medal line attaches to the aluminum hard line. Looking at how these are routed this wont be fun as the front diff is in the way.

If I had the hydraulic clamping tool I would consider giving the originals an extra squeeze but that's not happening,,,

Anyone tried this job on an 08/9 yet? The line itself is not overly expensive, the AC/Delco (20829009) is about $65 so the biggie is the labor to install.
