700,000 wheels sold, must be doing something right.

Almost all wheels are made of Chinesium now. Even factory GM wheels.

Those wheels look fantastic.

 

While the majority sold are Chinese made there are still a lot of goold old Made in the USA wheels available too. Weld Racing, Schott, CCW, Black Rock, some of the Fuel wheels are, Method, Trailready, US Wheel, Forgeline, American Eagle, Centerline.

With many of the brands though, they do import a LOT of their wheels though like Fuel and Black Rock but some of their higher end ones they do make here so you sometimes have to due some due diligence to see what you are getting with many brands.

Of course, most of the made in USA ones will cost a bit more as well but generally speaking, the aluminum, finish, etc are going to be higher quality and of course forged will be even more. I've seen some very low quality aluminum out of China. Stuff that breaks, crumbles, and is downright unsafe. I've also seen some top notch Chinese stuff.

Me personally, I will try to go for made in the USA. I was running Weld Racing forged wheels on mine.

 

I would love to find a set of 17" H2 Alcoa's in good condition, forged and top quality, and nearly impossible to find and hard to beat, maybe not as flashy as some of the newer wheels but they will outlast the H2 and never break!

 

MixMan I am with you. Always try and buy USA in my business, and always push the benefits of USA forged wheels, there are some really poor quality wheels out there, that being said, I have some Chinese Torq Thrust American Racing wheels on my Squarebody and they are fine.

 

Thanks it's the wife's vehicle I just take care of it for her and I let her pick them out it's only for summer use the mayhem on it now are for the winter , I appreciate all the feed back and if they don't hold up I will buy so.ething different we have fuel on our van and they seam fine been on there for 3 years and the suburban has rock star and they have been on there for about 3 years so we will see what happens .

 

just enjoy them. as long as you like them thats all that matters.

 

Avoid the curb! Cheap manufactured wheels are easily damaged!
