It's a pricey setup but nothing will beat it. Still drawn air from the factory fender air intake but is still a closed system. The factory box is a pain in the *** to get the lid on and off, this is only 4 Philips screws to get the lid off. I run the Volant filter inside with a Volant pre-filter. The tube is clean as it was brand new, nothing gets through.

The Airaid tube looks like the right one for use with the factory air box so you should be good to go. Those two big holes in the passenger side fender, those are there so the air box can draw cold air. Not hot air from the engine compartment. Like I said, the factory air box is actually a very well done cold air intake which pulls the fresh air from the fender.
The bolt size would be awesome, thank you

It looks like the front differential axle vent hose filter. You have to install the vent cap at the end of the hose. Dealer installed one on mine.

This TSB applies to 2003-2010 Chevy Express, 2003-2007 Chevy Silverado Classic, 2007-2010 Chevy Silverado, 2003-2010 GMC Savana, 2003-2007 GMC Sierra Classic, 2007-2010 GMC Sierra and 2003-2010 Hummer H2 vehicles.

Front or rear axle fluid leaks that appear to be coming from the axle vent hose will most often occur during hot ambient temperatures and/or while towing.

Installation of filter P/N 5651682 will act as an accumulator and will prevent fluid from being forced out of the end of the vent tube. Install the filter vertically in either direction, approximately 4 to 6 inches from the end vent cap of the hose or where convenient. Retain the filter using the supplied hose clamps and secure the filter and hose to prevent damage.

Looks like three bolts..... Size is M6 and are decently long since there are rubber mounts on the airbox. Just over an inch and a half long.
