Still no luck for me after several attempts. I got my tech2win clone today and trying to get that going. Do I need an active membership for one vin to do auto bleed?

Forget the carpet, just talking about floor mats/carpet mats. Measurement is done from the bottom of the brake pedal to the the area where the pedal would hit if it went to the floor. e.g.:

Not if you are using the hacked Tech2Win software, must also have the correct "card" image configured for Tech2Win to run in order to have the vehicle selections, etc. I forget how but it is a bit fiddly to get it configured and then it needs an MDI or compatible J2534 serial interface to connect between the computer and the vehicle.

I must have the ****tiest luck and i refuse to give in! hehe. I got my Tech2win working and it starts the auto bleed and it keeps crashing at random times. Once was when i opened up the first bleeder, then the 2nd...I got as far as the 3rd (rear right). Now my brakes are really soft again. Worse than when i started today, so i guess my air vacuum brake bleeder did something right a few days ago, just not enough.

anyone else experience tech2win crashing?

Also when you start the process it says, ignition on but engine off, hold brake steady and hit continue. When you hit start it says open front left bleeder screw and pump brakes continuously. What happened to holding the brakes steady? Then after the abs pumps a few times, it says STOP, Release brake. So which is it, do we hold brake stead or keep on brake, release until it says stop?

Not helpful with your foot on the pedal. Need a measurement with pedal in normal position, no foot required!

do not pump brakes! Aerates the fluid. Wait for all the air bubbles to settle and start over.

Pedal travel variance! I don't know the length of the rod to your master? Simple to calculate upward/lowered position on the pedal, to see if there is too much travel.

well 2.3/4" from the floor stops my vehicle on a dime all day every day. city or highway. rain or shine.
