Bought the 06 used and seller couldn't find keys.

Hasn't been an issue but I'm looking to add a light bar with a cross beam that resembles the stock crossbars.

A. Will it be an issues installing the new bar if I don't have keys to the old one?
B. How can I get the crossbars re-keyed?
C. Any other know issues im not seeing??

I had the same problem. But if you look at the end caps there should be a serial number on them. If you take that number to a lock smith they will be able to cut you a new set for your roof rack. Mine cost me $5.00 CDN.

Post the code and if my key is the same number I can mail you a copy of mine. I think they only use a couple of different keys.

you have to give us your lock number... they only made 5-6 keys....

You want need a key to install the light bar. The hardest part is fishing the wire through the rubber grommet below the front left ( driver side ) roof corner light. The keys are also very similar E001- E006, I have E-003 on factory X-bars and E005 on factory light bar and I can use either key on both, but it is alittle tricky, you have to rack it in and out as u turn it and they will work.
