Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Don't get me wrong. I've thought about halos in the past but as I mentioned for me I don't think it would look right on my rig. To each his own though, if that's the route you want to go then go for it and post a lot of pics for us to see!

Basically any 7" round headlight should work. When you remove the headlight assembly the round headlight housing is sandwiched between 2 pieces of the outer housing. I was concerned with my military lights not working but they fit right in without issue. I should have taken some pics.....

I'm looking at installing these same 6045 or 6050 JW Speaker fog lights in the DRL location. How did you mount them, did you have to make a custom bracket or anything?

Halo's were cool when they first came out on high end cars, but now anyone can buy them for $30 on ebay and they lost the appeal with me.

This is my friend's H2 here in moscow. He installed G-Wagon lights in his, and they look great. He's even got headlight washer's also... see here. It's in russian, but chrome can translate it, or at least see the pics..

I bet that is a huge improvement. Your buddy did a good job on the install.

That's fairly extensive compared to the standard install, even just cutting the buckets out.
I'm not sure if I could cut my grill, but that's a slick mod.

What's the brand of fog light? I've never seen those before.
They look like the JW Speaker 6045, but I'd rather confirm it.
Do they throw light well?

I think they were JWs, and yeah they were pretty bright. If you look at his page here for an overview you can see his other mods..
https://www.drive2.ru/r/hummer/1076308/

He has 4 cameras giving him 360 degree birdseye view on the screen for parking which is useful, and his wifi router / android head unit works perfectly. He was also the pioneer for the custom roof rack I wrote about when I was looking for ideas. We're going to get the welder to make me one. His is just really tidy all round.

I'm going to have to learn Russian!
It says "Hummer H2 Морковь" Does Морковь mean carrots? That's funny!

I'll be busy with this blog for a while. Thanks for posting the link.
