Hey everyone, I know everyone will start with the obvious but I couldn’t repair the shift interlock harness so I decided to replace the entire pigtail and connector matching the cable how they came out crimped the connectors, re-did the old ones that came out after a tug.

The key came out, but my issue is the key now will not turn or move to even turn the key in the cylinder. It was working before the harness change but I checked everything over and over….

is there anything else that should be looked at!?

 

make sure the cluster shows the same gear you selected. there is also another solenoid in the steering column that locks the ket in the cylinder
