Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Hi all, I'm midway in going all black on my Hummer 2007 H2 Special Edition.
I did blackouts on the exterior and was working on interiors. The front passenger door panel light had NO WIRING. I dismantled the door panel and still found no wiring. I'm at a loss.
Any ideas to fix? Seems odd that it would be without it.
I am loving the black outs, really a nice upgrade and sexy look! I did all exteriors, cab markers and 3rd brake as well.
Any thoughts on the courtesy light is appreciated.
How did you get those LED taillights AND those front LED turn signals to work without hyperflashing?? My tails work fine but as soon as I add in the turn signals HYPERFLASH!!
I used a set of resistors on my truck and works great. I actually have another set I never used. Let me know if you want to buy them from me. Still in packaging. There are 4 in the package. I would sell them for $40 shipped. You can reach me at 347-452-9938
I'm glad replacing the battery terminals solved the problem for you. I'm actually planning a trip to South Korea next year and was thinking of renting a car to drive around. Do you have any tips for driving there as a foreigner? I came across this website with tourism stats while researching - https://gowithguide.com/blog/tourism...d-to-know-5254. It mentioned the roads are generally very safe but watching out for tourist traps. Is there anything else I should know before getting behind the wheel in South Korea? Any particular areas you recommend checking out?
You're probably missing the short harness where they plug into the master controller in your door, the one with the window and mirror switches. That unit has a microprocessor in it and needs to be programmed for the courtesy light to work in the door. And yes, each door that has the window and lock switch has to be programmed individually. If you replace the one on the driver's door with an aftermarket one without programming, that courtesy light will stay on all the time. That's usually why people simply unplug it, as all the other functions are Plug and Play.
And rotate your gas lid clockwise, because it is out of position. It should be perfectly horizontal. Ditto for your spare wheel cover. Details matter, and you have a nice rig. Unless you are going for “that” you know what look.
