Stock 06 RADIO displaying 18 March 2000 date .
Any ideas how to adjust that?? I've looked everywhere.

there are a few videos on youtube google setting the clock on gm navigation any gm with your same radio should have the same options. sierra, yukon, ect...

 

Yup, the OP is right, you can fix the time easily by going to the config scrren, clock and setting it. Unfortunately I to have the same problem. My battery went dead and now the date is screwed up showing the same date as yours. I have searched every where I can think of but cannot find where you can correct the date. I almost think you cant and it simply is designed to display when the radio was first commissioned.

Read through this thread and go to the hidden minue there you will find a way to set the global date

GM has released a fix for most of these issues but not all (released in Nov 2019), there is a download for updated software that will fix the issue but for certain radios you will have to wait until August of this year for it to correct its self, I think it was determined it is a global GPS time issue.

Mine is doing the same thing. While I like the factory radio, they sure are antiquated now.
