Default Hummer H2 wiring diagram for oil pressure sensor

Hi All,

I have been trying to search for a detailed wiring diagram between the oil pressure sensor and the oil pressure gauge on the dash. We plan to install an extra oil pressure gauge.
Does anybody have the wiring diagram from the oil pressure sensor on the engine all the way to the dashboard?

Thank you

most sensors are read by the ECUs an the data routed to the instrument panel cluster which then controls the associated needle servo position.

Thank you for the diagram. Yes it is read by the ECU and our electrician ran into something around the ECU.

@Atd
First it's important nothing degrades or interferes with the Oil Pressure signal, there are a couple of DTC's associated with it, P0522 (Low Voltage <0.4V) and P0523 (Hi voltage >4.6V)
According to the manual, this signal operates in the range 0.4V to 4.6V i.e. a 5V circuit as opposed to 12V, also calibration of Voltage Vs Pressure is unknown

One would imagine any external gauge will need to match this electronically and not over load the existing sensor.

Not aware of any available mechanical ports to tap into.

if the scan tool reads your oil pressure properly then it might just be the cluster needs servicing. very common issue with bad gauge stepper motors.

Yes, that is our issue. The tool is reading correctly and the cluster is not. Do you by any chance have a trusted source to get stepper motors? by the each maybe?

From what I understand, the oil pressure signal goes through the ECU, right? Just be careful not to mess with that connection when adding your new gauge. Don't want to trigger any check engine lights!
