Default Hummer H2 restored brand new trim and more!

The black trim on the H2 was completely faded on the vehicle. Rear bumper was the worst. Gray and almost white. Inside the wheel wells the black trim was faded as well. Took all 4 panels out. Rusted screws were a challenge. I removed the rear tire harness. Was becoming more annoying that anything. I used trim and bumper paint by rustoeum. Took off the front bumper too. The wheels I used silver sprinkle from easton. Wow do they pop in the sun!! 2 cans did all 4 wheels. Used dupli color as primer on wheels only.. Prob close to 20 cans or so of the rustoleum. The under carriage pulled off 2 or 3 big piles of rust. The worst was under the rear fuel tank. Must if you do it yourself to drop the fuel tank. Might as well do new fuel pump delphi if you are undercoating. Used 1 bottle of rustolum rust remover gel. All you need. It covered the whole frame. 10 Bottles of black for undercariage. Rustoluem professjonal series for undercarriage and on the front bumper. Anyway. Here are the results. Ill get some before and after soon.

Thanks Neal, I actually used a pressure washer only. I sorayed the paint in temps from prob 45-80 defrees. Worked well. I have seen online there are primer products to use on plastic trim. I didnt use any and am happy with results. Maybe it would decrease the fading over time. Im not sure.I would use primer in the area in the pictures below. You can see the trim has faded rapidly in these 2 spots only.

Thanks, I highly recommend dropping fuel tank while you there. Install new Delphi pump. Above the rear of the fuel tank was terrible rust. So bad i literally used a dremel tool to cut it off. I used a small hammer from HF rust was just poping off. I used a transmission jack from HF to lower the fuel tank. Wasnt easy buy doable.
