Sitting in my driveway BOTH front airbags deployed!
I've had a slow battery drain so I had it hooked up to a charger at night.
Can't even find a mechanic that what's to diagnose it.

Targetbite other forum members will have more experience, mine suggestions come from reading technical data,
So based on your description:-

- Smart battery chargers can be problematic as they can cause abnormal battery voltage fluctuations, for example mine caused the Air Suspension Module to loose height calibration, so for this reason I never charge with the battery connected.
- Run a diagnostic scan tool and try to determine if the deployment was commanded e.g. B0051, since there was no impact this is unlikely the case, but worth checking since this is a "latched code" and may require the Inflatable Restraint Sensing & Diagnostic Module (SDM) to be reset (3rd party) or replaced. Note B0051 code cannot be cleared

- Could water have got into the SDM ? (roof leak)
- There are two impact sensors mounted at the front of the vehicle, these are unlikely to be the cause but again check the DTC codes. BTW these are common failures as they corrode over time, but they are heavily checked by the SDM i.e. vehicle need to be in motion.
the airbag module lives under the drivers seat mounted to the floor. i would check it for corrossion. DO NOT FLIP THE MODULE IF CONNECTED. it will deploy the restraint system. the rollover sensor is integrated to the module.
Thanks Oceanbrave for posting...Great Video. Now I know where those peski sensors are. Wonder where the side curtain ones are? Had mine deploy years ago. Some dude hit me in the rear lower bumper cap and it spun me around on the wet ground. Both Side curtain Bags came out....Long Suckers. No body damage ...just the plastic rear bumper cap and the support bracket. They installed a New headliner because the plastic guide that the visor arm goes thru ripped the headliner about 1/2 inch.
The dealer decided to make some money from the insurance company. When the insurance company came in to look at the headliner and saw the 1/2 inch tare they said go for it. The headliner has to push out for the side bags to deploy. They should go back in after the new bag is installed.

Does your Hummer have "onstar" get it professionally disabled. That thing drained My new battery all the time... after 16 years, just a thought.
Yes the Onstar 2g/3g systems are no longer functional but the brains for them in the H2 are still active and trying to get a signal. Just pull the VCIM fuse (better yet totally unplug the module).
The 03 and at least 04 H2 do not have side curtain airbags Targetbite... I've had the entire interior out of mine at one point and there are none. Just the two front ones is all.
