I want to upgrade my mirrors and have a few questions
1. Are the stick on over replacements really work?
2. The guts in both mirrors are different. Is that normal or was one possibly replaced?
3. Which is the OEM mirror?
4. Anyone upgrade to the mirrors with turn signal arrow? OEM? Why does this one only have one connection? OEM? Also why does this one have 2 connectionson the mirror?
I always wanted to do the turn signal mirrors but you will lose the auto dimming capability of the stock mirrors which I prefer over the signal mirrors honestly. The connections should be for the auto dimming. Did you order the signal mirrors? If you end up doing them post pics and keep us updated!
I've also seen on many of the aftermarket "signal mirror" glass that you also lose the heated (defrost/defog) function as well. I believe both sides are dimming as well as heated, hence two sets of wires connected to the glass

Only have the 2006 wiring diagram to hand, it shows the "Electro-Chromatic Mirror" (dimming) option as only present on the driver's side, other than that the "guts" are the same.
It may be "optional" as I have a 2004 connector diagram without it and a 2005 with it, again only on the driver's side.
