i been doing research on the heated seats problem on my h2 i press the heating sear button and it turns on for 3 sec and the shuts off only in the front seats. Help anyone?

 

I think it's just a short in the seat, if there's a short in one seat it messes up functionality to both front seats. My truck has the same issue, the seats will sometime turn off immediately, sometimes they will work, sometimes if I drive around for a while or slap the seat back they'll start working.

My understanding it that it's the heating element in one of the seats, not sure if you can narrow it down to one particular seat.

 

Try turning on just the seat back heater and not the bottom. If the back gets hot then you know there is a short in the bottom heater element. Quick an easy test.
