Default Headlight and Foglight replacement (input needed)d

Its time to bring the H2 more up to date. Looking to replace all the lights but need personal opinions to good/bad experiences.

Wouldn't mind some built in LED but I will buy replacement bulbs only if needed to go into housing.

Thanks!

I put the USA made Trucklite phase 7 headlights in mine. I like them.

I purchased a pair of Cyron LED's for mine and love them. I also replaced the factory DRL's with new OEM units with LED's and they too look great.

I went to the link and I couldn't find them.

They look good. I wanted to get a set that didn't have a full ring as the typical led ring.

I haven't ever seen anything like that! Good looking setup.

I like the black ring around the light. Im going to look into them and see if they also have the same thing for the fogs.

Thanks!

We do not have fogs, we have comically gigantic daytime running lights. In any case I know what you meant but no one makes anything that is a direct replacement for them..... Many have retrofitted others lights in their place though. For me the key was finding something large enough that it does not leave a huge gap around them. I ended up with some aftermarket Tundra fog lights and added the additional wiring to make them actually function as fog lights (the ones I got also have a halo which I connected to the stock DRL wiring so I also still have functional DRL's. Have to dig in older threads on here to find the ones I went with as I do not remember what brand they were now. The Tundra fogs are close to 4.5" though so they fill the pocket fairly well.

I've been tempted to see if any of the various mounts Diode Dynamics has for theirs are close to the exact size of the pocket in the bumper (or just cut my own from some .063 aluminum and mod ones DD already has). It would take some looking at all the various mounts DD has though but I figure if I got them exacting dimensions of the pocket (diameter, depth, mounting stud points) that they might have some ideas. Their fogs are truly amazing - pricey but top notch. The Morimoto headlights that WhDaFk went with are also top notch - look at the proper beam cutoff pattern they have on the fence shot he posted. That is what headlights beam pattern is supposed to look like - great visibility without blinding everyone else on the road. The majority of the cheap Chinese ones have a lot of upward glare that blinds other drivers.

I went with whdafk and mixmans suggestions. Morimoto led headlights with Tundra fogs. Very happy with results.
