Go to a automotive paint store and you can buy it in a spray can or pint, The biggest thing is to clean an degrees it and clean it good. and flow the directions. If done right it will last and you can always touch it up as time goes.

The spray paint for plastic works pretty damn good. I did my dash a year ago and it's holding up great. I also did my bumpers and plastic trim all around. Looks like a new truck.

Hi guys!

I read this great thread and was hoping for some additional suggestions/advice.

In taking the OP picture here:

a reply in the thread for the paint color of the RED arrow was this: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Rust-Oleum-...zwXW80&irgwc=1

which I agree looks spot on...

Any suggestions on paint for the Orange arrow color material (wheat/tan?) and the Green arrow material (black)

Thanks all!

SEM Vinyl paint, available at most body shop supply houses are what you want to use. Prep is key, and it will work great if you follow the directions.

@calif phil -- what colors would you suggest?

calif phil 12-07-2021 01:15 PM

If you have the wheat colored interior, I would look for a silver/gray to replicate the OEM color.

But I prefer not to get rid of the wheat, I really just need to touch up the worn wheat color in lots of different areas on door panels and console. Looking for what would the correct "wheat" paint color would be, if anyone knows

SEM might have a close match. If not it might have to be mixed.... https://www.semproducts.com/products/brand/color-coat

Might be able to contact them. I'm sure someone somewhere has a match. The GM RPO code 99 Lt Wheat.
