Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default H2.....Should I buy?

Hey guys. Coming from a 2007 H3. Had 107k on the clock and drove like it was brand new! Sold it for 14k and paid off some college loans and have about 10k left for a vehicle!
Been looking at some H2’s but for about 10k all the ones I have seen have about 200k miles. Anywhere from 180 to about 200k. My question is.... 200k miles just too much for an H2? Some people will swear on their life their H2’s will last a million miles, but some say don’t buy over 100k. Just wanting some opinion here. Is 200k too much for 8-10 thousand? Or will I be fine with a high mileage H2? Any input will be highly appreciated! Miss my H3 but looking forward to the bigger H2!

Depends, are you buying it for your daily driver? If so forget it. If your buying it for a weekend toy then I would say yes.

200k on the odo for a DD is way too much. Not to mention the H2 specific parts are all but gone by this time good luck finding anything. Most of these new members are younger guys buying high mileage rigs with no idea what they are getting in to. You can easily see by the number of less than 10 post members posting "HELP ME" threads.

Mine has 216k miles on it and it’s in great shape. It runs and drives well. Having said that, it is far from my only vehicle and I do all the work on all my cars. I bought it (2003 H2) from the original owner a couple months ago. I paid very little for it and drove it home. So far I have replaced two window regulators, the radiator, and a couple Evap components. The ecbm needs to be rebuilt as I have the abs, brake, and tcs lights on intermittently. It has a few small oil leaks from the pan gasket. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it across country.
