Those will work as oem designed them. Work smart, not hard! I've had many busted knuckles over the years.

Noooo Mevotech junk. I had their ball joint type links in my jeep and they lasted 200 miles. Dry rotted within 6 months.

Dry rotted? More like improper installation. Regardless Mevotech carries a LT Warranty.

Why do people believe that the more expensive part is the better choice?

i used off the shelf ones like the ones above but with red urethane bushings so far 3 years with them. i bought them at autozone the day i purchased the truck and installed them for the ride home as i saw they where shot during purchase inspection. they where under 20 bucks at the time for the set.

So GK80631 parts arrived today, managed to fit one side before the heavens opened up and it rained cats and dogs, thunder lightening the works!!

Here is the part:-

Fitting was easy, used an angle grinder to cut through the old one as the nut was corroded and seized.
the new part fitted in easily.

There is not much "free" thread on the bolt, so I had to omit the bottom washer at 1st just to pull the assembly together using the nut, then I could fit the bottom washer and tighten as normal.

The washers on this assembly are pre-pressed and "shaped" to match the rubber profile i.e. they're not a plain washer and the rubber is still quite hard, equal to the original part in my estimation.

The part I would say is acceptable and should do the job, it was easy to fit, only 2-off 14mm wrenches required.

The old one was pretty worn.

Thanks for all your help.
