Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Just replaced fronts with stock shocks last summer. Nice smooth ride.

There were 4 left in the world. Discontinued. I took 2.

I believe stocks were made by Monroe, but it may depend on year.

Bilstein not offered on the H2, at least not on some years. Mine is a SE, as high end as it got, and came with Monroe.

Go on line to Gm parts suppliers... Get the Shock Part number and search. They are marked GM Delco Make sure they do not come from China

I went to GM Parts direct and put in Hummer h2 2008....don't know what your year is.. When it says GM with a Part number search that number on google

Correct. GM contract starting in 1999 was Tenneco:=> Monroe and Rancho {{{{OEM}}}} shocks.

HI fxgrnd38,

I am leaning toward the 5100s as well. However, a guy at a shock website said that Bilstein doesn't make a rear shock 5100 - only the fronts. What are you using for rears?

Thank you,

JohnD
